He's the only sane candidate, period. The rest are bought by special interests groups. I don't know where people get the idea he wants to abolish government or that he switched from Libertarian to Republican to run for President. The facts are that he wants to limit the role of the federal government and return power to the states where they rightfully belong. He also was a Republican Congressman in the late 1970s and early 1980s, then he ran for President in 1988 as a Libertarian, and returned to Congress in the 1990s as a Republican. If anything he switched to the Libertarian party to run for President in 1988 when daddy-Bush was the Republican nominee. The fact that he's willing to put his principles of conservative government over the current party platform is his most redeeming quality. He's the only true conservative, the only real Republican in the race.

Ron Paul may be the only sane person running fron ANY party. Too bad he has no chance at all.

Ron Paul is definitely the LEAST CORRUPT candidate. That means he will not win the primary.

Ron Paul may be sane ( which I doubt) but he is not a republican he is a libertarian. He only switched parties so he would have a shot at becoming President. He does not have a chance in h-e-l-l of coming out of the primaries with the nomination.

He makes the most sense if you are able to listen to what he has to say. The others are probably sane, but not willing to defend the constitution like Ron Paul.

Fred Thompson is clearly the front runner for the GOP. In fact, he could be the overall leader now. He has a large following, especially among the Evangelical community.

I'm open to new ideas but his views that government should be abolished and the holocaust is a myth are too much for me. He would be better off in Iran.

My God, he's a politician and ALL politicians lie through the nose just to get elected. He's no different besides, he has a 2% rating. Even the democrat held Congress has a higher rating than that.
