Once upon a time I had to choose between working with the public or hazardous materials.
The public never stood a chance.

Dang, I didn't even know there was a line 3. Maybe that's why they are angry; how long have they been on hold? The sensor you speak of is called the receptionist. If he/she is doing their job, they should be able to warn you. Then again our receptionist's name is Hope, but I think of her as Hopeless. Sad.

That is a good idea. Another revolution.
A voice sensor to sense the tone and tell us if the person was happy or angry.
Good Q.

lol, i hate telemarketers...
when they call I say "oh hold on I have something on the stove, I'll be right back", then I put down the phone for ages and do whatever... sometimes I then hang up, other times I pick up and say, "ok, who was this?" and when they start there speal, I tell them "Oh sorry, I'm not interested".
I wish there was a mood ring for phone calls, then I could watch them getting angrier. hehe!

I can always tell if someone else "drops" a call on my line...never is a good thing! A sensor would be awesome!

Anyone that calls here and is angry has to hold for a looooooooong time. Then I go back on and ask them if they speak Mandarin. If they don't - they hold some more. If they do of course I have to hang up because I don't. â¥

That would be nice. Like a mood ring, but for phones. Then you would know how to approach the call.

No, I did not know that. It would be good if phones were equipped with such a warning.
