Are your responses under askers rating for best answer awkward too?

I never know what to say when I pick someone as best answer. I don't want to just say thanks, so I try to say something more unique, and I don't know.

Yep - especially when I ask a funny question and get all serious answers back - WTF!

Don't worry, I won't be hurt if you don't write much ;o)

Yes I know what you mean. Sometimes thank you for answering is all I can come up with. I guess that is better than nothing though.
