ever met somebody off of Y/A's? I have pondered wether it's safe or not. What are your thoughts?

No but I have made some great friends.
I met someone who was moving to my town of Melbourne from London and we still email eachother regularly. Keep meaning to catch up for a beer, but never manage to make plans!

I haven't met anyone from here in person, no. Have talked to some on the phone and would love to meet a few, but have not.

Yes, I have met someone who is (or used to be) on here, but it wasn't a "romantic" thing......just somebody who turned out to live near me and came by the restaurant where I work and had breakfast and we talked for a little bit......it was cool.
I wouldn't be against it, but I'd want to make sure and meet in public first, if you know what I mean........

Well, I just heard a case where a woman went to visit some guy off the net. He held her captive and did very bad things to her. So, it's a gamble just like any other choice.

I've been talking a to guy the past few weeks. but haven't met in person.That's been going through my mind alot if it's safe or not. good question.

There are a few that I have gotten to know that I probably would :-) I am a trusting person :-) But I haven't taken that leap yet. There is only one here that is even remotely near me & maybe one day we will meet for coffee :-)

I've never met anyone from Y/A and to be honest, the contacts I have come to know and love, I would meet in a heartbeat...
