During the Mike & the Mad Dog show yesterday Franseca & Russo where moaning & groaning over the times of the playoff games in Arizona & Colorado.. They where screaming that why couldn't they put the games in the afternoon East Coast time so that those fans in the East Coast who care to watch have a chance to watch it. What Makes Fransesca & Russo think that the West Coat teams have to set the time of the games to appease them? If they want to watch it so bad stay awake for the game is my opinion.

Mike and Mad Dog are usually moaning over something or other...........There's a time difference between the east coast and Arizona/Colorado time and that counts for air play........Mike and M.D. aren't taking into consideration (by saying to put them on in the afternoon) that a lot of sports fans are at work in the afternoon and then traveling home.......They wouldn't have a chance to see the the games if they were on in the afternoon and that isn't what the networks want.......They want viewers and they'll get whoever is interested in the games at night.............CAT

Let's start with the fact that a majority of population of the United States lives east of the Mississippi. And let's assume most of those people are in bed at 11:30, because they have to go to work, school, etc.

If the Rockies series starts at 10, that means more than half the country won't be able to see parts of the biggest games of the season. This would be like the NFL scheduling the AFC championship game at 10 p.m. From a marketing standpoint, it doesn't make much sense.

I'm not sure what the answer is, but the games need to be played when people can see them if possible. And the end of these 4-hour marathons would be nice. If a game starts at 8:30, there's no reason most of the time that the game should go to midnight. Perhaps cutting out some of the commercial time would help.

Mike and Chris always whine about scheduling. All they have to do is Tivo the game, or record it some other way.

By the way, I heard that there were still 8,000 tickets available for Game 1. Is that a true reflection of the local interest (or lack of it)?

I live in Nevada and do not care what the East Coast folks say.
The times are perfect for the fan base.

I agree. I live in Germany right now, so it's hard for me to even watch monday night football, but you don't see me complaining. People just like to cry about everything.
