No my dear, if I want to do something then I cannot because all I ever will get is a state of wanting to do something. On the the other hand,if I choose to do or achieve something then I would definitely be able to do so. I always believed in myself and know from experience that I can create anything I choose, actually all of us do but not all of us do it conciously. The human mind is the most powerful tool given to us, it is a creating machine, we are constantly creating and re-creating, therefore when we do so conciously we can achieve anything we choose. You first have to know who you really are, you need to be reminded of your true self and not who you think you are or whom others think you are but who u really are. When you come to that realisation you will find that you have the power to achieve whatever you wish. Just to side step a little and I'm not a religionist, when Jesus performed a few miracles the people were amazed and questioned him. His reply, " These things and more ye are capable of......". You see most people know this but they choose not to believe in themselves. They think they are unworthy of achieving the grandest vision they ever had, they believe they are a lesser being, in truth there is no such thing as a lesser being, this is due to conditioning from early childhood and it never stops because its passed on from generation to generation. To believe in oneself, one has to know oneself and I believe that most really dont know who they are, ask around you and you will see. If you look closely you will see that most people try to be who they are not and continue to live a life of denial or put on a charade. Its the illusion that we wrap ourselves around thus limiting our possibilities and capabilities. Look at great achievers, they had no doubt about themselves even while others mocked them, they stood fast in their beliefs and capabilities. To sum up, all I've been saying is that you have everything in you, the ability to achieve the greatest heights or the to be a failure, it is simply up to you what do you choose?
