There is a guy that owns his own air conditioning business (he fixes air conditioners for a living). Anyway, he does all the air condition work for my job. He has asked me two (2) times if he could take me out to lunch and I said NO because I have a boyfriend that I love dearly. Now my boyfriend is mad and wants to fight him and/or curse him out. Do you think my boyfrined is right for wanting to do these things to him? I don't think he is because to me I feel like this situation is really petty and pointless and there is no need for him to fight this dude over this. My boyfriend says he feels disrespected because this guy has asked me out two (2) times in spite of the fact that I told I had a boyfriend each time and that's why he wants to do something to him. What do you think?

I told him because we tell each other everything. He is like my best friend and I like that we tell each other everything. I don't want us have any secrets and he doesn't want us to have any secrets either. I like that our relationship is the way that it is. He tells me the same sort of things too.

I can understand your BF's point of view, but beating the guy up or cussing him out would be wrong. Now he can tell the guy pointedly and firmly to leave you alone, but to do more is to go beyond the law and would be morally wrong... but I have a feeling he's not caring about morality... to be quite honest with you. I think what you should do is tell your boss that the guy who does the AC work is hitting on you to your disapproval... that should take care of things I think. Your BF should be jealous, watch over you, but he has not right to physically hurt the other one. I think you should do more to stay away from the AC guy also so it's not able to come up. So do what you can to thwart it alright?

Your boyfriend just needs to take this stuff with a grain of salt. If you're a good looking woman then of course you'll have people hit on you. Also if guys don't see the ring on the finger then they ASSuME that your still fair game. Your boyfriend can do the mature thing and just confront the guy without beating him senseless.

This guy sounds like the same AC repairman that's been doing our secretary in the vacant office upstairs....sure wish someone would put a stop to their afternoon flings and I'm most certain that their spouses wouldn't appreciate it :-)

Sounds like your bf has some jealousy issues AND that you need to quit telling him when people ask you out if you can't control his silliness...

no he shouldn't fight him, he goes to fix your air conditioner and its not like you'll never see him again. if it happens once more he can talk to him to get him to stop, but not necessarily in a fight

I think you were silly to mention it to your boyfriend if the other guys meant nothing to you and you told him no.
