When it's cloudy, it's darker outside, which reminds you of night time. The sound of the rain is like soothing music. It's just great.

The air is cold; they say you sleep better when its cold. The sunlight is dimmed, so your body isnt too bothered by the sleep, and the rain pattering on the roof is hypnotic. Like a fan but better.

First thing you are forced to be indoors.secondly ,when the humidity is more(approximately 100 percent during rain),any work you do will cause perspiration.So you want to do the lightest work which can be nothing other than sleeping.
