Over 95% of liberal posts are somehow nitpicking every little failing or problem that might exist somewhere in this country.

How do they live like that?

And over 95% of conservative posts are bashing liberals and making up "statistics" without any substantial proof.
I am neither Democratic nor Republican, but posts like these make me sympathize with the democrat case.
Honestly, do you think these questions make you appear intelligent? Or are you posting this to specifically get a rise out of people?
Whereas there are some liberals who do nitpick America, there are many who do not. Many liberals serve in the United States Armed Forces, I personally know of a few who I went to high school with. Moreover, nitpicking isn't necessarily bad. How do you think the Constitution was created? If the revolutionaries back then DIDN'T "nitpick" the British overrule, there wouldn't be an America. It truly is our ability to compromise that, in my liberal opinion (yes I am liberal and not a democrat), America is the greatest country in the world. Only through compromise was the United States government created and only through compromise can we continue to survive.
So next time, actually think about what you're writing before completely making a fool out of yourself. I feel sorry for you : (

I saw this spray painted on a building wall in rural Delaware, Ohio a few years back: "I love my country, but I hate my government."

That's how I feel. I love America. We have more opportunity and freedom than nearly any country in the world. We have a low unemployment rate and fairly low taxes. I love the fact that you can get in a car in NYC and drive through so many different landscapes before ending up in Los Angeles. I love that if you dislike something that an elected official is doing or a policy they are following, you have a right to protest and voice your opinion without being clubbed and dragged off to prison. I love the fact that we have the best trained and most efficient military in the world. I love that we all have a voice and not just one side or the other.
Do I love our government? No. I don't. That doesn't have any bearing on my love for my country though.

Steven Van Zant said it best:

And the rivers shall open for the righteous (X2)
And the rivers shall open for the righteous, someday

I went walking,with my brother
And he wondered,oh,how I am
Said what I believe with my soul
Ain't what I see with my eyes
And there's no turning back this time

I am a patriot,and I love my country
Because my country is all I know
I wanna be with my family
People who understand me
I got no place else to go...
I am a patriot...

I went walking,with my sister
She looked so fine,I said,"Baby, what's on your mind?"
She said,"I wanna run like the lions
Released from their cages
Released from the rages burning in my soul tonight"
I am a patriot...

And I ain't no communist
And I ain't no socialist
And I ain't no capitalist
And I ain't no imperialist
And I ain't no democrat
I sure ain't no republican either
I only know one party, and that is freedom
I am,I am,I am...

I am a patriot,and I love my country
Because my country is all I know

And the rivers shall open for the righteous (X2)
And the rivers shall open for the righteous, someday
Someday,someday,someday...

All the time. People are just looking for the America that they envision as their best version of America. To squelch that voice is to silence many of your fellow citizens and that has problems in its own right.

Deek, if 25 people haven't given you an answer that satisifes you, you may need to reexamine how you ask the question. As an educator my colleagues and I will always find that when we don't get the answers, it's the question not the students.

Liberals (and conservatives, for that matter) take advantage of the number-one best reason to live in America: the freedom to speak freely and frankly about our society without fear of prosecution. We can only stop naming flaws when we live in a place that is perfect, and our nation--as well as every nation--is far from that goal.

Therefore, it is our civic responsibility to speak out when necessary against the amoral, unconstitutional, and unethical. It might be nice to spend time patting ourselves on the back, but we're only true patriots when we have the courage to speak out against the problems our nation undoubtedly has.

you may desire to comprehend by employing now that the liberals will constantly bypass back to Bush and blame him for each thing, which includes what THEY do incorrect, so it is going without asserting that, sure, each and every of the loopy, clueless libs will blame Bush from now until the tip of the worldwide!! To the poster that reported there have been no longer WMD's, I hate to disappoint you, yet you're sooooo out of the know-how loop!! Saddam Hussein HAD WMD's whilst the Iraqi conflict started!! Our troops stumbled on evidence of them in Iraq, however the brainless liberal media did no longer promote it - heavens mercy, in the event that they did - that could desire to have boosted Bush's approval scores and can have made the liberals seem so stupid (they're besides, regardless) Saddam Hussein used WMD's against his very own people, killing hundreds upon hundreds throughout his long 30-year reign!! He replace into an evil, murderous, cruel monster that did no longer care approximately human existence, no longer to show his very own people's lives!! Hussein knew that as quickly as our troops have been going to bypass into Iraq, he bought off his WMD's to Syria in the previous he have been given captured by employing our defense force and allies! He KNEW he did no longer have the potential to defeat us and our allies, so in the previous he have been given captured, he bought off his WMDs!! NO liberal will EVER convince me that there have been no WMD's in Iraq!! And sure, Clinton DID point out that Hussein had to be dealt with or perhaps Hillary reported it to boot! They, alongside with Kerry and Obama and different liberals/democrats voted for the conflict, so this is no longer ALL Bush that sent our troops into Iraq all on is very own fruition!! get properly reported, LIBS, in the previous you submit solutions!! Do your homework!!!

The squeaky wheel gets the grease. I don't think there's a question of who loves the country more. What I think it boils down to is political BS and no matter which side you're on, you are obligated to put down the other side no matter what they say. I just wish the bickering would stop and people would consider what's best for the people and not what's best for their party.

Is it not amazing how little faith the Liberals show for the USA. It seems that everything the country has done is wrong since President Bush " stole the election" from Gore. The Democratic congress is in business for the party and to Hell with the majority of the american's needs, problems and its possible solutions. The thought of Hillary as president is revolting. With every criticism she changes her stance.

This is a board for asking questions. How much sense does it make to ask "Isn't it wonderful how [fill in blank] is working?"
No, much more interesting to ask about things perceived as going badly, so that the issue can be analyzed and possible solutions (if necessary) can be found.

Edit:
"OK, I have seen about 25 answers and NOT ONE real answer about a good thing."
Why expect something you didn't actually ask for?
Well, here's one anyways: I can go to the grocery and *gasp* get more than one type of bread! We have fantastic consumer variety.

How do you live everyday? Why not choose a topic to discuss that has meaning. This is why this country is so divided politically....search for a cause rather then a finger pointing match.

oh...blah blah blah!!!!
