He was sold for $25,000 in cash, three $25,000 notes payable every year with interest, and a $300,000 loan.
The deal took place on December 26, 1919, although it wasn't announced until early in the new year.

Who do you think remembers it the most, Yankees who went on to become probably one of the best sports teams in history or Boston fans who had to wait 85 years for another championship & had to except the fact that the Yankees won 26 titles since the trade. Just wondering
