Well, when you considered that under today's standards, Nixon's views would make him a Liberal. Kennedy, FDR, Eisenhower. . .all the great presidents from the Great Depression through to Reagan, under current terms, would be Liberals, I'm not afraid to say that, by today's standards, I'm a Liberal.

I believe in what this country was founded for, not for what the far Right has been trying to make us believe since the Reagan era that our founding fathers stood for.

As my mother once put it, her beliefs HAVE shifted as she's grown older, but there's been a lot more shifting of this country towards the far right, leaving people who were once moderate with positions that are now "liberal".

So put me down as a New Deal, Populist, 1964 War on Poverty, Roger Williams and Thomas Jefferson kinda' Liberal, bleeding heart Democrat.

definite, nicely this purely demonstrates that maximum folk finally end up being a contradiction in words. are you able to call that a paradox? on condition that the alternative is actual needless to say. to no remember if liberal conservatism would nicely be embraced via those conservatives who're greater liberal than actual conservative, i think of, is something that would desire to be debated liberally in a conservatory way.

A compassionate conservative. I don't agree with everything they do, but I do prefer their policies over the liberal choices. I feel that we need a new, fresh, VIABLE party to give us more choices, because most of the time I really don't care for either party and I feel I have to choose the lesser of two evils.

Conservative. Without reservation.

To be more specific:

Fiscally Libertarian
Socially Conservative

If I had to choose I would say conservative. Though that is just because of my family values and love of country. In recent years the Democrats have just failed to nominate many candidates that I would vote for.
