Well. currently there in first place at 2-2. but there big test is this weekend. if they beat the Chargers. I think they got a legitimate shot a making the postseason. what does everyone think. There chances are defenetly better with Culpepper at QB.

The next 2 weeks will tell. If they win this weekend YES we are going to the playoffs. This weekend will be the test. I don't think KC will be a problem. First place now.....after last year in last place. The Raiders have come a long way. Culpepper has something to prove this year. RAIDERS 4EVER

Living in Oakland, it would be great to see. (Of course, I would never abandon my Colts though.) I will say that the Raiders are in the best division for making the playoffs as division champs. But the AFC is just too tough though. It'll be another year or two for the Raiders. This year's AFC playoff participants will be:

1. Colts 14-2
2. Pats 14-2
3. Steelers 12-4
4. Chargers 9-7
5. Jaguars 11-5
6. Titans 10-6

Of course, next year, they will have to worry about all of the above teams plus other upstarts like the Texans.

I am counting on the Raiders to kick powder blue *** this weekend. They have had two weeks to prepare for this game. I hope that they have been watching video of all the teams that have used the run blitz against LT and do likewise.

The Raiders are getting better without a doubt. I am not looking as far as the playoffs though.

I think after this weekend we can answer that question.

The Chargers look like they could be playing better, and if Raiders can beat them I would say they have a shot. If the Raiders walk all over them i would say no.

I think they are good enough.. They have a really good defense and Culpepper at qb brings what they lacked in the position since their superbowl season when they lost to TB...

they have the tools and they just have to put it on the field. People may be very surpised.

They are a better team then they were last year but they are still not good enough for the playoffs. The Chargers offense has come back to life, which makes them the AFC West favorite to me.

I think the wild card is probably out, because the Jags, Ravens, and Titans are all better teams.

Nope, although they are better off with Culpepper. 5-11 or being generous 6-10.

I am hopeful and the division is a mess. Probably the worst in football. 9-7 would win that division.
