I'm really glad you have asked this question!
I thought I had the same problem!
Until i figured out why:
Gravity, when lying flat, is against you. What you need to do is sleep with two pillows under your hips so it can soak up inside you during the night.
Thats why, when trying to conceive, you should have sex in bed and not move again til the next morning. just keep a tissue by your bed and have a wipe (excess on the outside), then leave your hips in the air with the pillows.
Also, let the man do on top or enter you from behind.
That way it has a better chance of all soaking in.
Women on top is not a good idea when TTC.
Good luck to you!

I have done some research on this, and everything that I have read suggests laying with a pillow or something under your hips (to make your hips elevated) for 20 - 30 mins after you have sex. I think the idea is to let your cervix sit in a "pool of semen", and I guess they all don't need to get up in there!

It's normal coz of gravity. If you are intending to be pregnant, don't worry because it only take 1 sperm to fertilize your egg. Same thing happen to me, I waited for 30 min and tilted my butt using pillow and it still came out. I fell asleep and in the morning when i go to toilet it still comes out. Eventually i did get pregnant. So don't worry, it is not just you.

it is normal for it to flow out, but you can help it stay in by puting a pillow beneath the hips and rising your legs in the air for 15-20minutes, this is due so that gravity can take its roll and carry the sperm to the egg

Since you are trying to conceive, your guy should put his hand inside and mix the fluids.
If he gently strokes the cervix (doughnut shaped muscle at the entrance to the uterus), it will open.
If he's long enough he can penetrate the cervix and plant his seeds more deeply.
