Antioxidants come in many forms from different fruits and vegetables. Goji berries, Noni fruits, etc are all good for their antioxidant activity, however... As a supplement to the diet, you can achieve the same thing from organic cranberry juice as well. (Not corn syrup juices, read the labels).
Why? Because, we have a symbiotic (dependency) on plant foods. Without them, disease symptoms appear over time.
Antioxidants that are standardized supplements for those who don't' eat organic and eat up to 13 servings of fruits and veggies a day, are usually an option to add for extra antioxidant protection.
Goji is a good product. Not great, but I'd rather see people make an attempt at putting good things in their body rather than Star Bucks every day.
There is a book written by an MD called "The Antioxidant Miracle" and it states that 70% of all disease are from lack of antioxidants in the diet. Where do we get these antioxidants? Vine ripened raw plant foods!
Stear clear of one supplement does it all mentality. Include the Goji, but don't neglect other colorful produce and other supplementation out there that address other systems of the body.
There are systems of the body that are supported on a cellular level from different micronutrients from plant foods. Each molecular food is designed for cellular restoration, cell defense, tissue regeneration, and wellness.
Goji is one peace of a much bigger puzzle just as blueberries are...
There is the immune system, the defense system, the endocrine system, the elimination system and the autonomic nervous system.
Optimal Health packets that provide most of these micronutrients are what I take every day, twice a day due to the air we breath, the water we drink, and living in a very oxidative industrial world. I also have to eat right because no supplement is going to save me if I don't.
Eating right and supplementation with exercise and filtered water helps one to obtain a very positive attitude.
Hope this helped.

All fruits and veggies lower blood pressure, and are good for heart health and contain antioxidants. There's no one miracle food. It's best to get a variety of fruits and veggies. That doesn't mean don't eat them. It just means don't count on them to heal every ailment. A healthy balanced diet will do that.

Read the label and see what other ingredients are is in the "packet". That might make a difference. I take a nutritional supplement that contains Goji along with other ingredients and love it. Goji is considered to be one of the world’s most nutritionally dense foods....it's good for you!
