I love to use baking soda.... It's good to freshen your carpets.. Especially if you have pets/children... I sprinkle it on the carpets and let it sit overnight... Vacuum ! It also repels fleas.. If you mix the baking soda with iodized salt it effectively stops fleas lifecycle and prevents new ones from hatching plus the salt picks up any loose dirt... I also use baking soda in my wash loads I use 1/2 the amount of regular detergent and add about 1/2 c. of baking soda to every load.. It freshens the laundry and allows for using less detergent.. It helps the detergent work better and no need for fabric softner... It also takes away foul odors.. .I use it to exfoliate my face/body. It's cheap and since I have sensitive skin I have to be careful. You can get a 12 lb bag from the wholesale club for about $5 !

Baking soda is good to clean off stains on sinks, bath tubs and on carpets. Actually it can be mixed with water and lemon to remove stains on the kitchen stove and it can also be used dry on the carpet and then vacuumed off.

..you can clean anything and everything with it, ...I use it to brush my teeth with!! ...mix with a bit of water to form paste, or even a bit of peroxide for the whitening affects. You can clean countertops, again, with a bit of water,....any item you would clean with some chemical spray you can clean with baking soda. Happy cleaning.

You mix it with water. I heard it is good as a whitener for teeth too. You may want to check this though, I wouldn't want to be responsible for you ending up with a mouth full of 'stumps' if you know what I mean.

Yes it is, the directions are on the box, it works as a softener
you can mix it with other cleaners, you can use it as tooth paste if you run out, also for tummy upset, as you would Alka
Seltzer.
