Taken flowers on April 15th to the Washington waterfront memorial to the 80% of men who died saving 74% of the women on the Titanic?

Apparently visitation of this memorial is at an all time low...

It's popular and fashionable these days for feminists and women in general to not care about men. It's popular for women to view men as being evil, despite all of the good men did for humanitarian causes.

If such an incident happened today, personally I would not discriminate in trying to get women rescued over men, and would prefer that both men and women try to save as many of their children as possible (hopefully both the parents and kids can leave together), since the kids have lived the least amount of time.

Since the feminists are always trying to make men have a guilt complex, I always bring up the same question every few weeks about how men do many things for breast cancer research, and how women for the most part ignore prostate cancer research.

I would, if I didn't live in Australia, and lived over in the US.
But, I don't expect chivalry, it's not my right. I'm just nice to everyone, male or female and if they're nice to me then I thank them-no attitude, just a smile.
Shame that the memorial is not receiving the visitors, those men who died on the Titanic did such a selfless act.

Most women today may not even know about the Titanic memorial. All they know is the movie version of what happened. Perhaps its time to make a more up to date memorial to other chivalrous men.

Weren't these the same people who had life boats at less than 50% capacity and only really saved the wealthy women and children?

I think people in 2007 know women are capable of things but when the Titanic sank they still believed women where unable to make their own decisions.

Sorry Brother Humpy, but I am too busy on April 15th dealing with tax stuff.

True story: My great-grandfather was a doctor who lost most of his clients in New York City because of the sinking of the Titanic. He practically had to start all over with his practice.

All the women that have been saved are either dead or too old to visit.
