I mean, everyone already knew or at least suspected this. She was keeping it "secret" to protect her privacy. Well, why does she think that the rest of the world is waiting with bated breath to hear that she's pregnant? Do you think that this is conceited?

That's special-twins. I hope all goes well for her. I 'care' in the sense I hope all goes well for her during the pg, but not really all that interested. And maybe she wanted to wait until she was out of the most common place of miscarrying-which is the 1st 3 months before she announced. Just in case she did miscarry she didn't have to share that grief with the world.

It is obvious that people do care, but the real question should be "why?" do we care. The answer is - because these are people we feel that we "know". We align ourselves with certain celebrities the same way we do with friends. (Remember the whole T-shirt deal with Jennifer vs. Angelina?) By rejoicing in J LO's pregnancy -- we are acting as if she were someone we knew personally.
Plus, it humanizes them to the level of "normal people".

That's just my opinion.

Nope. Don't care at all. I've got a set of twins, myself, thank you. As for protecting her privacy, what difference does one or two days make? I heard just 2 days ago that she was denying being pregnant, when reporters asked her if that was a "baby bump" under her shirt.

Apparently you care, or else you wouldn't be posting this question.

This is the typical life of celebs, it's not like she's the only one who has hidden a pregnancy for a while. This happens all the time in tinseltown.

It has nothing to do with being conceited.

well she's a celebrity, a big one at that, no one one cares really, its just that everyone wants to be the first to know, and believe it or not there are ppl out there that do care, not that this is going to change the world or anythings, its just that its been known she's always wanted a baby and now she finally has 2!! Well, yup, ive heard she's gone places and been really unpleasant tellin them' do you know who i am?" like what the hell ever teh only difference between her and me is that she has ALOT of money!!! but hell, we all die and take nothing with us. so, there u go..

i could be looked up as being conceited. They ask for privacy but then give out intimate details of their lives...now i'm supposed to be AWESOME i was waiting for J Lo to tell me this it just made my day.

I dont care to be honest...grats to her and her husband. It doesnt make or break my day either way.

Do I really care? No not really. I'm getting pretty tired of hearing about celebrity pregnancies to tell you the truth. And is it really soooo important that it merits being the top story on Yahoo? Must be a slow news day.

Oh and the thought of her having sex with Marc Anthony turns my stomach.

I think celebrities are waiting way too long to have kids...twins or not..since when is it ok for 40-50 year old women to have first borns.
