Please link something to back up what you state.

You know that is the mistake many people in today's society make.... Let me put it this way... I am taking $1000 dollars of your money each year. But THIS YEAR I am only going to take $900. WOW I did you some big favor by not stealing so much this year.

(HERE IS THE REAL TRUTH OF THE MATTER: The government raises taxes on certain classes of people each year. If they propose to raise your tax rate by 2% this year and change it to 1% they claim it as a tax cut eventhough you are going to pay more. I don't care if I received an extra check they still kept more money overall at the end of the year.)

I'm sure if GWB did this and I got a $100 tax cut then it was a mistake by GWB or it means he gave a $10000+ tax break to the rich also.

(He sure as HE77 didn't take it out of his own pocket so that just means we will pay for it later with less of a tax break....)

As I said. Please link something.

$100?
A few years back, there was a sort of rebate program.
We got a check for $600.
When it came to tax time we found that amount added to our income and we owed taxes on it. Gee thanks prez.
They gave it to us with one hand, and took it back with the other. I think we were supposed to remember the check and forget the extra taxes we were charged.
It may have been GWBs idea, but the check came from the treasury, it didn't cost him a cent.
They gave me back some of my tax money, then took it back.
Don't you ever get tired of being fooled?

Please allow me to correct something. We did not receive a check from GWB. We were refunded some of the money we paid in taxes. I do not want anyone to ever labor under the misconception that a tax refund is in any way, the government giving you something. That money belongs to us; we earned it.

The main point is this. In a socialist society all wealth and resources belong to the central government to distribute as it sees fit. In a capitalist society all wealth and resources belong to the people and the govenment must come to us for the money it needs to run. BIG DIFFERENCE!

Mine was more like $300. I cashed it. I bought a DVD player.

Hey, I may not agree with his policy, but if he's going to send me free money - I'm not stupid.
