Very true.
I've always ALWAYS had weight issues, since I was about, hmmm, five? I never fought back, either, because, my parents kind of raised me as a pacifist, and my emotions suffered because of it. I WISH I had been more bold. But the worst was when I was in high school and I was in the library during lunch, these two boys sat down at the table where I was and just would not let up, even when I got up to move, they followed me. I bawled my eyes out when I got to my next class. It was embarrassing.

I am bigger now than I was then, but I just carry it better.

I got up to 315 after I had my now 20 month old, and I got tired of just getting bigger and bigger, so I finally buckled down, and started making myself exercise, and eat better, and drink more water. About a year later, I lost a little over 100lbs. It still fluctuates, cuz life happens, but I've gone from a 26/28 to a 14/16 and 16/18(I still retain water like crazy.)

I have and I think it's rude to comment on a persons weight. If you feel that as a friend or member of the persons family that you need to say anything about the persons weight then it should be done tactfully. And you need to consider the persons feelings.

I used to be a size 3, and I had more rude comments being real thin than I do now that I have put on more than a few pounds. I think people were jealous then.
