If it's a faint positive line, you are definitely pregnant. Congratulations! I had a faint positive a few days before my missed period, and I ended up taking 4 more tests over the next few days and the line just got darker. Then I had a blood test at the doctors. I would just schedule the docs appointment so you can get the blood test. Tell them you had a faint line and they'll say you're pregnant. I'm sure of that.

I would retest closer to the date of your period. You can get a positive test prior to your period, but still lose the pregnancy.
I am 5weeks pregnant and got a positive test on the 24th thru the 28th day. The positive test line got darker every time I took it. It's really hard not to use those tests!!
Remember to call your doctor when you have a positive read on your test and have missed your period.

I would say to get an ept certainty or clear blue, both are digital, and I had the same problem with those darn line ones...I just didn't know....with the digital ones, there is no mistaking, it just says "pregnant" or "not pregnant" also at wal-mart they come two to a pack, so you can retest today and if you don't get it by saturday, then you can retest on sunday....

Even a faint line means a positive result :-) If you want to retest wait until Saturday and use your first pee of the morning as it will have the highest level of hCG.

You can retest in the next couple of lines, but like your posts are telling you, you are pegnant. The faintest of lines in a pregnancy test holds back the HCG hormone when your urine soaks across the test. Congratulations!

it doesn't hurt to take another test. If you had a faint line that means you are pregnant. Conrats!

If its positive it should have 2 lines. And yes even though they are faint it could still be positive. I would take another one and if there are 2 lines again, even if they are faint, i would call your ob/gyn and make an app
