Most likely to be "Stress". You need to sort out the most worrying problems that you have, including worrying about why you sleep so few hours. The more you worry about the lack of sleep, the less you will get. As you sort out your troubles, your ability to sleep longer will return. In the meantime, cut out all caffeinne drinks (tea, coffee, cola etc.) as these won't help. Try exercising before going to sleep as a tired body will sleep longer. As a final tip to help, take a really hot bath before going to sleep and play some soft music at low volume. In case of desperation, try reading a chapter of a boring book, Westerns tend to do it. When tired, a boring book will knock you to sleep in no time at all.

If you haven't been drinking coffee,taking no doze or some form of amphetamines contact your nearest medical physician ASAP.

when i cant sleep, i drink some nyquil and take a few benedyl
