First and foremost, the main criteria is political. The second criteria is that the film has to include guns, blood and loads of violence. Third criteria is influence, the bigger the names the more chance of nomination. Next criteria is money, the more spent on making the film the better the chance of nomination. Next comes sex and bad language. The final criteria is the quality of the acting / directing etc. Skills come last, money and political influence come first. That's the reason why the worst movies get most of the awards. The best films don't get a mention. Can you see a movie that contains; peaceful people helping each other, everybody is polite to each other, not a single gun involved, no Rap Artists, no scandal in the story and people are loving each other without any steamy sex sessions and was made with less than $10 million ever getting a nomination? I don't think so either!
