Dear Miss,
Are you trying to tell us that your hubby will not make it on "Dancing with the Stars"?
If you have a swelling that has lasted and not receded for 3 or more days, it's time to see the doctor.
After the first 24 hours, you need warm compresses, rest and anti-inflammatory drugs. If this persists....doctor-time.

If you are gitting some swelling I suggest you see your doctor . It is possible that the accident has caused a blood clot, Not very likely if it was on the shin but worth checking out

I heard you're supposed to go from hot to cold and vice versa..maybe that's just at the first. Go to webmd. What is A+E??This is important to take care of. I fell and hurt my knee over a year ago and it STILL gives me problems...think arthur has set in . Didn't realize how important my knees were!! Naproxin always helps with pain (or Aleve)(Dr. gives me super strength naproxin..but won't give me anymore..or a handicapped sticker..until I have an MRI or something more than an xray done..and I won't do that)

Go your husband to take you to the dr NOW, you don't want to take a chance on a blood clot. I know he feels bad about kicking you, but he'll feel worse if it turns into something more serious.

ice packs help for the swelling and the pain and rest it.
the rice system helps
R=rest.....don't walk around too much
I=ice...takes the swelling down
C=compression....put a bandage on for support
E=elevated....when sitting down put in on another seat or something and when in bed put a pillow underneath it....this helps to stop blood clots.
if it is still bad after a week go to your gp and see if he/she can do anything to help.

hi, effective hubby!! relatively attempt raising your leg. perhaps take a seat on the settee and positioned a eating room chair in front of you, place a pair of cushions on chair and relax you leg. save it there as long as conceivable, ice packs utilized on the comparable time would help. relax for as long as you are able to. would help cut back the fluid. if no longer off to the quack.

I would get it checked, just to rule out blood clots...and enroll your husband in some dance classes ;-)

It was an accident, there is nothing 'to do' unless you need to go to the doctors.

go to A+E or the doc, you heal slower because of your age and complications can set in quicker.
