Last night was again Darcy Tucker at his "finest." After watching his stupid penalty near the end of the period, I am convinced this guy is a cancer for that team. Don't get me wrong, if he has to be on any team, I'd rather he stay with that sorry organization. (Any team that thinks Hal Gill is a top d-man has to be sad!)
He may put up decent numbers here and there, but his hot head and selfish play is simply no good in this day and age. The team comes first, and this guy is just a loose cannon. I love when he comes to Boston because , as with all hot heads, he is so easy to rile up. Last year I sat near the bench and literally got more attention from him than he was giving to the game. What a clown.

SO- WHO DO YOU THINK IS AS BAD? Don't give me goons- they have a job. I want players who do stupid things at stupid times and usually cost their team

Tucker I think has his shorts in a knot because blake has replaced him as Sundins top winger and he is no longer the go to guy. He is not a goon, not a scorer and does not aggitate as well as he used to(Steve Avery style) If i were running the team i would try to trade him for a minor leaguer or draft pick and save some cap room or package him and Raycroft together and try to improve that way.Pohl, Newbury and Battaglia are doing a better job than tucker at a fraction of the price and Belak their goon has yet to play.

I've never been a huge fan of Tucker's. The wise ones around the league keep saying how lucky he is to be in Toronto because on most teams, he would be a 3rd or 4th line player. He's neither a great stickhandler, nor a great skater. His hockey sense is average for the NHL. He is nowhere near consistent enough to be a top line player for a Stanley Cup contender.

Most of his 'stardom' here in Toronto is because women think he's attractive. Go watch a game in a bar and the men are bitching about every mistake he makes and wish the Leafs would trade him. Of course, as Leaf fans, the only fair trade these fans would accept would be Joe Thornton, Sidney Crosby, or Alexander Ovechkin

Got news for you. There was a reason to what Tucker did at the end of the period and that was to fire up his team. It was a worth taking the two minutes, but it didn't get the team pumped up. Also, from what I've heard, you'd be a loose cannon too if you drank a large cup of coffee on the way to work, and the continue to drink caffinated beverages while getting dressed. That's just his routine.

Go Leafs....

The Oilers' preliminary settlement furnish to Smyth replaced into in all probability that low on objective, just to get the ball rolling on negotiations. they choose him right this moment, he's plenty greater smart to the group than Darcy Tucker could be (see the above comments on Tucker), and that i think of that Smyth particularly needs to stay in Edmonton. they're going to locate a thank you to maintain him. God, i wish they do no longer commerce for Tucker.

I'm trying to find the We want Albert bag I used to have. Only good news out of last night is perhaps the Leafs are one step closer to dumping JF Jr. Has there ever been a worse evaluator of hockey talent? (Gerry MacNamara?)

I keep waiting for Toskala to prove he can even play on par with Raycroft let alone replace him... So far, if he could start playing bad, it would be an improvement...

Sundin is basically paid twice what hes worth at this point... So no matter what he does hes a disappointment to me.

The Toronto defense could basically be replaced by 6 minor league draftees and would probably improve...

At least the Leafs don't have Kovalev. Does that guy have any fans left?

I think Cap'n Mats is more of a liability. He is to old and to slow. (don't jump on me I am just stating what everyone is thinking but are to afraid to say).
