I got bifocal contacts and have been wearing them for about 10 days now. After I have them in for a while, my right eye keeps getting a "film" over it and I have to keep blinking to make it go away so I can focus. My left eye does it here and there also, but nearly as much as my right eye. I know there is an "adjustment period" for new contact wearers, so I was just wondering if this was part of the breaking in, or if it doesn't sound right. Thanks in advance for your help/opinions!

It could possibly be due to allergies. What solution do you clean your contacts with? Just make sure you stay away from generic solutions. And you could possibly try cleaning your contacts with a peroxide base solution such as clear care a couple times a week. If you continue to have problems I would ask your optometrist. Hope this helps!

You may have astigmatisms in your eyes. The film is not a film at all, it is like an air bubble under your lens, if I am understanding you correctly. Tell your eye doctor about the problem. He may be able to give you a better prescription next time. Mine did.

You need to tell your eye doctor this ASAP so he or she can refit you. It sounds like your contacts do not fit correctly causing them to move in your eye. Most doctor's have a time frame of refitting you at no charge so get this taken of quickly.

The contacts need cleaning. If that doesn't help call your doctor.
Good Luck.
