Do not mistaken I'm not asking about GOD. I believe in him and I trust in him with all of my heart.

A church is a man-made institution, so to lose faith in "the church" is not such a bad thing. It's good that you can distinguish between "the church" and your faith in God, however view HIM/HER. I agree with the answer to exlore other faiths, other denominations, other paths. Keep your faith in God, and find a community of worshippers that you feel comfortable with. In my case, I found a path that allows me to worship where-ever I am. . . in a forest or a sweat lodge or in a Wiccan circle. If worshipping with a community is important to you, by exploring other "churches" you will not only learn about their ways, but you will also learn a lot about yourself along the way. Good luck, and blessed be.

I left the church about five years ago - and although I do miss worshipping GOD with other believers - I have never felt closer to GOD because I've been more focused, concentrated on developing my relationship with HIM through daily prayer, meditation, Bible study, etc. - all the things I was too lazy to do as a Sunday Morning "pew warmer" in a church building.

One day I am sure GOD will lead me back to HIS church, to another group of believers; a place where I will feel comfortable.

Until then, I am content.

Then he will guide you. Maybe It's a good thing that you have gotten out of your church. God may have wanted you out so that you mind doesn't become clouded with nonsense. As long as you hold on to your faith in God he will find you a better way. I'm sorry to hear that the church has done you like that but maybe in the end it's for the best. GOOD LUCK & GOD BLESS!!

I personally think its sad, but a healthy reality check that the church is a man made thing.

Just keep your faith in God, no where is it commanded that we go to a 'church'.

I'm sorry I can't answer this better for you because I'm going through this myself for the past year.

I do think it is a healthy thing, sort of like graduating high school, you feel scared and a little saddened, but it's time to move on.

Wish I could help more, God Bless!!

You must continue to trust in God and be patient with yourself, in your prayer ask God to show you the right path to take and be at peace knowing that He has your best interests at heart.
Remember too that only Christ is perfect as He is the Head of the church, the members who make up the church are not perfect and no matter which one you choose you will alway`s find this to be true, still continue asking the Lord to guide you to His church.

I too have lost faith in the "church". Especially the "mega churches" because of all the false doctrine and greed that they've allowed in. It's great that you still trust God. Continue in that and HE will guide you. Don't let go of the faith you have. Continue in prayer, in season and out...

Col 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving

If God is leading you away from the group you fellowship with then He will open another door before He closes that one. If you are discerning things going on that are not comfortable to you, you can bring it up to the pastor. In counsel he will give you Godly advice that you can get witness to. If it is not confirmed then pack your bags and move on. The next door is already opened. Don't be too critical because there really isn't a perfect group, especially if we are there, because nobody is perfect but God Himself.
Praise God!

Depends what you call church. There is a local church and an invisible church where only true believers are members from the start of the church age to Christs return. There is many teachings coming into the local churches that you would never have seem years ago. But rejoice in that your name is written in the true church and try to find a church you feel comfortable with

As God teaches us in His Word "not all Israel is Israel". So not all that calls itself the church is the church. The Bereans were commended by Paul for searching the scriptures to see if what he was teaching was true. So first, there is much going on that is not in line with scripture. Find a church that is. Second remember, Jesus came to save sinners, not the righteous, so you won't find a perfect church here on earth. Also remember that where there is a body of believers, no matter how much they struggle, they are the Body of Christ and they are loved by God who will complete His work in them. It helps to also see clearly our own weaknesses. If you think to little of the ones for whom Christ has died, you may want to examine your own love for Christ.

Church is the fullness of Christ--Eph 1:22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Jesus commands us to love each other:John 13:34
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

A witness of our being united to Christ:John 13:35
By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

1 John 4:12
[ Seeing God Through Love ] No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

2 John 1:5
And now I plead with you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we have had from the beginning: that we love one another.

it is very easy to loose faith. i can't speak from perennial experience but what i would suggest is to pray to God. Keep your heart open and listen to it. If you have a church leader go and talk to him or her. They can be very helpful. i wish you the best of luck.
