I think you have got the right idea - write everything down and stick ot on a notice board. I should do that take today for example...
4 lunch boxes to make.. (no cheese for sarnies)
2 musical instruments to take to school
2 P.E kits(forgot them)
2 after school clubs 1 @ 3;30 - 4:30
1@ 6:00 - 7:30
and thats on top of housework,washing/drying ironning cooking/cleaning - (doing my sons homework- tut tut).
There's no wonder us parents are sooo worn out - I think a nice glass of wine and a long soak in the bath are in order - until we do it all again............TOMORROW

How do you remember to eat your breakfast, lunch or dinner?
It is hunger that makes you so.It is a natural gift that we do remember certain things which are important for life. And for that purpose God created some signals.
How o a mothers remembers her child's(days old) requirements.
All this reveal that we posses a kind of love and concern in respect of our family. So if the extra family activities, are taking away our family concern, we have to observe this aspect carefully and amend ourselves to not to loose track of our dependents, family members.
Everyday just before going to bed think of the day you had spent. Are there any lapses on your part and the resulting damage occurred. Just think if you could have not acted like this.
Next day morning when you get up from bed, just think what amends you need to make in todays activity taking into yesterday's failures into consideration.
Be kind and how real concern to your family. Then you need not note down in A4 dairy too. This is only an additional checkpoint, but cannot be the basic concern point.
I hope you made the sense of what all I am trying to suggest you. This kind of analogy will make you successful in home, office, profession and everywhere. Good luck friend.

I am a childminder, I have 14 children on my books although they do not all come at once. Different kids on different days, different times, different schools, different clubs. So many variables. Then the schools put a spanner in the works and either put another club in somewhere to prepare for a church service or they cancel a club because of training courses. It does get extreemly confusing. How do I cope??????? My schedual program in my mobile phone and a display chart showing the weeks usual routine. If something changes like a club cancelled i put it in my phone as an event so an alarm goes off 1/2 hour early to remind me.
good luck.

I am a horrible organizer... so being a mom with lots of kids can sometimes be challenging, because I have to focus on remaining organized. I have a HUGE whiteboard calander than I keep right off of my kitchen. At the beginning of every month, I sit down and write down everything I already know about... then I add to as things come in. It has a big block on the side for me to write notes on. I check it every morning while I'm fixing breakfast and then usually before I go to bed. I also send myself text messages of things I want to remember. I always have my phone, so that keeps important info with me all the time.

Come on you're a woman (looking at your avitar) we multitask. It's easy isn't it. Organising a family is a lot harder than most other jobs I have ever done, stick with it girl. Try a large family organiser calendar, write down the activity or app't for each person and remember to look at it. It's the only way I remember if I need to pick up 2 or 3 daughters after school or if I have to go back later to collect one from French or netball.

The key to remember everything for your family lies in the measure you love your family. Only love and concern for family members can help one to remember everything and go beyond to foresee the needs of each other. An A4 diary can remind you things you have already recorded in it. What about keeping an alert mind and a loving heart that would prompt you time and again what is needed for your family...

This is normal-- you have a busy life. I use a notebook, and electronic organiser, and I stick post-it notes on my handbag or briefcase, and on anything that I possibly can. I bring a list with me, and I ask my child to remind me, as well, if it involves him. Never throw out the original notes-- keep them in an organized place-- but write just the basic details down on a calendar.
Hope this helps!

I have a big calendar on the wall where I write appointments, and next to it is a dry erase board where I will write out our schedule for the day. before I head out the door I write our schedule on a note pad and then I don't forget all my stops.
