2 questions. Going to a Marine Corp Ball. Which I am way stoked about! Does this dress look appropriate? ( I'm getting it in black)

Saw the dress...appropriate ! There will be the reading ofthe Commandant's message to the Corps, a cake cutting ceremony with the oldest and youngest Marine present, probably a bagpiper playing the Marine's Hymn, and a moment of silence for POW-MIA's and our brother Marines who gave their all.
As for the band music, it will vary depending on the unit or group putting on the Ball.
Be prepared to hear a LOT of old war stories, comparing units served with, and enjoy yourself!

The dress is gorgeous!! What division are you in?...my hubby and I are going in Nov. to the Marine Corp. Ball in Nashville....Im waaay excited, he just got outta boot camp not too long ago so this is our first one!

i have never gone but i hope to! my bf is in camp pen. right now....BOOT CAMP!
but my comment for you: go with the black....i see a couple of guys said blue...girl go with the black!
