This is a tricky one as a .cab file can only be executed by the program that it is associated with. As already mentioned, a .cab file is a "cabinet" file. This basically means that it isn't one file but many files stored inside a box. If it is a Windows .cab file, only Windows can execute the contents. If it is an Adobe Acrobat .cab, only Adobe Acrobat can execute the contents etc.. You will need to find the "Associated" application / program first.
