I have heard lots of different things regarding this.

Some people claim it is not a good thing to drink something while eating.

On the other hand southern chinese often finish their meal with a soup to aid digestion.

Chinese also believe you shouldn't eat or drink anything cold or you will have stomach problems.

From this point of you, you could try drinking warm water or soup while eating a meal.

Basically the diet works by building up the contents of the stomach with water. But I suspect you would have to drink a lot of water to make this happen, maybe a glass with everything bite or something. These will probably make you feel a little sick rather than full, so you stop eating. But you will find you are hungry again soon (which means you are likely to eat junk food).

You may fill up faster but there is no guarantee unless you cut calories on account of it. Not just one day but enough days to cut 3,5oo calories. that is what you must give up to loose a pound. So cutting back on 100 calories a day will allow you to loose a pound in 35 days.
