I never chose a religion. When I was 18 years old I decided to commit suicide. I called a help line and was refered to a Christian group. After I spent time with them I saw they had something I'd never seen before. I ended up praying for the first time in my life and began a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That happened on October 21, 1971. I am so glad God has helped me and loved me. Knowing Him is the most important thing in my life.

I do go to a church with other believers, but I don't exalt my church like I think it has all the answers and the ultimate truth of Christianity. My church can't be perfect....I go there.

Most people will spend more time and energy researching a wash machine before they buy it then a religion before dedicating there lives to it, ALL religion is man made and most people are born into there parents religion so saying that god is in heaven is the same as saying night is dark...........

. Pentecost, or as people call it apostolic is not really a religion, it is an experience, If you will read in Acts where the disciples were waiting for the promice of the father, when that promisee came the promis was the gift of the Holy Ghost. Then when they received it they all spake with other tongues. When you do that and you are sincere with God he will show you all things and lead you in all truths. Phoenix; atheism is not a religion.

I was brought up in the religion I follow, but always asked questions and researched other religions. I found my own logical and very helpful in life. I agree with the tenants and find it most accepting of differences. Also, things that are prohibited (drugs, stealing etc.) are for just causes as they will harm you or not help you in life if you indulge in them. Also my religion is not about "blind faith" but logic and reason.

I was raised Protestant, but I always had a lot of questions about a lot of things. I visited lots of different kinds of churches with my friends growing up (including a Jewish synagogue). I took Catholic instruction when I was a teenager, and went to Baha'i firesides in my 20's. I've lived in countries where the majority of people were Muslim, Hindu, or Buddhist.

I finally found something that makes sense to me, respects other faiths, and doesn't discount any of them.

A star for you!

I didnt chose my religion, God chose me. And is not a religion to me. Yes, I believe in Jesus. It is a way of life. We are all dead in sin and can not move. God can only save us from that. Imagine you in drowning in water and there is nothing you can do. You are dead and cannot move, only god can rescue from the water that surrounds you and pick you out the water. I saw truth and real life in the bible and I saw it those who preached it. Ultimately I choose it because I felt Gods presence and his joy in me and I knew it was real.

I didn't. I've never had one. My parents tried to choose Methodism for me, but the irrationality of it all never made sense, so I have been a lifelong atheist.

I'm pagan. All my life i had Christianity shoved down my throat. I never understood it and was afraid of everything. All those shalt's and shalt not's are intimidating! You can't live your own life! So i found a religion which filled me with love and made me feel like I was worth something. That I was important.
