We muslims will celebrate in a simple way on the first of Syawal the following month after Ramadhan. In Indonesia Muhammadiyah a sect has announced that the end of Ramadhan on October 11 so they will celebrate Iedul fitri(Syawal1,1428 H) on Friday October 12,2007.The most muslims will wait the announcement of the government when the Iedul Fitri will be celebrated.I think it may be on SaturdayOctober 13,2007.Generally we celebrate in by praying together in an open field or in a mosque and then shake hand among the member of family, neighbours, relatives and
friends. We treat well our guests at home with cakes and other foods and drinks. We celebrate it only one day but Iedul Fitri situation will be felt during one month of Syawal. In Bali most muslims live in Singaraja north of Bali island. In Denpasar there are many muslims too especially the new comers not the origin of Bali people.(Balinese).You are welcome to Bali.
