My cat is two years old. She lately has started throwing up like every other day. Why is she throwing up so much? Do I need to worry? I feed her Eukanuba and she is very active and eats and drinks enough...she looks really healthy

probably hairballs, or she needs a change in diet. Try one, then the other

Just because she looks healthy; doesn't mean anything if she is throwing up. Same thing is true of people. If you were throwing up every other day; do you think that would be normal? There must be a problem for that to happen.
Take the cat to a vet.

If it's NOT hairballs, then perhaps the food,.. Eukanuba's not 'all that' (besides they do dreadful testing on Beagles, seen the video).
Try a lower protein diet, but higher in fiber and good quality.
Is it undigested food? Then she's eating too fast and too much at a time.
Also, give some wet cat food, my cats rarely throw up on wet.

Does your cat eat too much food and pukes afterwards or is it just a random thing throughout the day? Is she too active too, like after eating you play around with her a lot?
We have a 1 year old cat that we feed science diet. He'll eat and then minutes later pukes...the food looks whole like it wasn't even chewed. If we ruff house with him too much he also pukes.

Still might want to take a trip to the vet just to be on the safe side. Is she pregnant...? =) ha!

Re: Throwing up

My first answer to you would be to bring her to the vet. It would probably be nothing since she is not that old. The likelihood is very low. If nothing is found to be wrong with just a physical exam, the next course of action would be bloodwork. This would check everything. It could be something as simple as she might have gotten older and you might need to change her food. There could be nothing wrong with the food, but her digestive system could have changed with age and she might need a food that is easier for her system to digest.

She is throwing up actual food or hairballs?
If her throw up is hairy and compacted then she might be throwing up hairballs. You should talk to your vet if it is hairballs they can prescribe hair ball medication it stops hairballs. You should take her to the vet.Cause she could get dehydrated.Maybe she ate something she shouldn't of eaten and it made her sick.

Does your cat eat alot of grass?? Cauz if a cat eats alot of grass because they cant get enough nutrients, then they tend to throw it all up.... so maybe that could be the case?!?!
