My friend met a guy on Friday, did some talking and got married on the following Monday. Do you think is it because she did it to be finally married since her friends are or is it possible to fall in love over the weekend or is it only a way to make it permanent in the US?? She's European, he's American.

Definitely not love at first sight...Green Card? does she need to leave the UK? lust? that must be it! but it wont last... they dont know each other at all and relationships go by steps.
Meet, date, engagement, move in together, marriage...

ask her, but wow that was fast ,how can anyone after just a weekend know that they want to spend the rest of their lifes with a person, it took my 6 years to get my bloke to marry me.
