I can get a tan fast but i like my skin very light. ivory almost. Dont people know its bad to tan all the time!

it might be bad for the skin if you over do it but a little tan gives you a healthy vibrant glow, it makes you look alive instead of the pasty pale gothic malnourished dead look with dark circles under your eyes
also i have noticed that tan people have much clearer skin, less breakouts and also less cellulite and lighter body hair (not to be gross but seriously like the hair on their arms are less noticeable). so their face and bodies look much better because of it
funny thing, i have some scars and small deep tissue bruises and scars that will take years to heal and my doctor actually told me that one of the best things i can do is go to the beach often and keep myself moderately tan and do activities in the water. the sun and the salt water will help my skin heal faster. go figure. but the key word is moderately....

A tanned look makes you look healthy and alive, not to tan though, if you want a tan look but but not the sun damage try sunless tanning creams. They work great and give you that sun kissed look without the sun damage.

sure its bad to tan all the time and if you look better light then you shouldn't tan. but also a lot of women get tanner because it hides celulite better and it also looks cool w/the contrast of dark skin and other features. especially if you have light eyes or hair.

On a side note the more sun burns a person gets the greater chance of getting skin cancer.

I like guys with a tan because it sometimes looks exotic, but over all, personality rules.

yeah i know, i personally like pale better. i guess tan looks more exotic? idk, looks kind of healthier in their opinion? probably just the media and stuff, influencing peoples opinions, etc.

that if ur pale u'll lyk the tanned because your not and also it depends wat country ur in coz some countries find different colours attractive than others

People think it looks healthy and sexy. It's not particularly healthy nor sexy.
