My name in my drivers license does not match my social security, how can I renew it?

CA DMV will not let me renew my drivers license because of name difference in social security and the drivers license

If it is due to marriage, go to the SS office and apply for a new card with your new name.

When I changed my name when I got married, I called the phone # on the SS card and they sent me a form to change it.

YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO CONTACT THE SS OFFICE AND GET THIS STRAIGHTEN OUT.
