I believe the calculation you are looking for is:
15 ML/ per pound per day
or 1/2 oz/lb

so for me at 256 lbs = 1 gallon of water a day (128 oz)
3.84 liters
********************************
so much for the 8 glass theory

your brain starts the downward function spiral at 2% dehydration

all the best !

nicely 8 cups an afternoon is for an grownup. a cup = 250 mL ... so 2 litres an afternoon is 8 cups :D even even with the undeniable fact which you pronounced you in uncomplicated terms had 330 mL on 'commonplace days', you actual get plenty greater water than that, from the ingredients you consume and the juices you drink. if the problems persist, see a doctor.

Tom4bucs has it right.

Only a minor detail he left out.

If you are overweight (according to BMI) then its recommended an extra 240mL (8oz) for every 25lbs over weight.

Tom has it right-15 ml per pound per day. I would add that is actual body weight, not ideal body weight.
