It's my best friend's birthday tomorrow. i already baked her a cake, got her a balloon, and made her a card. my gift to her is a 6 piece bath set. the thing about that is i brought it for myself and have had it for 3 weeks now. Does that seem cheap? i couldn't find anything for her at the mall, and her birthday's tomorrow. should i add anything else???

The cake is very generous already since you made it yourself + balloons + card! WOW! I'd love to be your friend!

It is the thought that counts! As long as you think she will enjoy the bath set, then give it to her. Birthday's are about being around good friends and family, not about how many gifts you rack up on or how good they are. You baked her a cake... that shows alot of thought in itself.

It's the thought that counts, you don't want to go overboard and she does not know that you bought the bath set for yourself, so what's the problem? I would just wish her a happy birthday and she will love the time you took and the work you went through to make her day special...

I don't think it's a bad idea. Give her the 6 piece bath set. That should be lots with everything else you've got. And have fun.

A cake, a balloon and bath set is more than enough. What more does she want?

Has she seen the bathset? If not ...why not? You sound like a wonderful friend. Lucky her!
