AD is Latin and means Anno Domini, or "the year of the lord", meaning after Christ,

in Spanish is DC - después de Cristo although we also use AD

BC- in Spanish is AC - Antes de Cristo.

We also use auc or "ad urbe condita" meaning counting since the foundation of Rome

Hope it helps

Actually AD means Anno Domini haha
Can't yu just say BC AD? but with the spanish accent? like ah-deh(AD) and beh-seh(BC)

If yu want to say them completely then i suggest saying Anno Domini since that is in latin and is how everyone says it, and saying Before Christ in spanish (Antes de Cristo):3

In italy we use..
** aC...(avanti Cristo) (before Christ) (ante Christum ..latin)
** d.C (dopo Cristo) (after Christ) (post Christum ..natum)
A.D. (anno Domini) (year of the Lord) this means theat the calendary starts from the birth of Jesus...
Before the year 476 dC (after Christ) under Imperator Costantino ...the old Romans maked dates from a.U.c (ab Urbe condita) birth day of Rome town !!
In old ruins you may read CCLVII ..aUc (257 from birth of Rome) .. or AD. DXX (anno Domini 520)
A hallo to all ..from Frank-Florence -Italy !!!
Are you able to read latin numbers?
I=one ..V=5 ...X=10 ..L=50...C=100 ..D=500 M=1000

The calender we use today wasn't started until centuries after christ's death or at least the first catholic pope which was supposed to be at the time of jesus' death when he then was the leader of the church, the apostle peter. So even if Jesus wasn't real we know for a fact that the popes were becuas all of that was recorded down to the first one. Idk why they would have popes if jesus didn't exist though, lol, kinda would make you wonder huh. After quite a few continous successions of popes through the centuries that passed somebody in the catholic church came up with this calender system, if I recall correctly it was St. Gregory the Great. We have used this system eversince because it was the most efficient system.

Other answerers said it already.
I've just one correction for above answerer Santiago.
AUC means AB URBE CONDITA (from Rome's foundation) and not as he wrote Ad Urbe Condita ( to Rome foundation)
