Put your boot up his tail and tell him to get the heck out. Do you really want to support someone who has no desire or motivation? Because that is the type of person that acts like he has. If he doesn't communicate now, he won't communicate when or if you get married to him. Do you really deserve a creep like that??
Added Later after more thought:... I have been around people like him. They think the world owes them everything. They are users and abusers. He is showing you his true colors. You really do not need a person that forces their will upon you! This is emotional Rape!! Ok Ok. It just burns my buns when people act like they are Gods gift to humanity! No relationship can ever possibly last when there is no 50-50 or at least a 51-49 sharing of decisions. You need someone who RESPECTS you enough to take your feelings into account.
I still hold to my first thought! Kick his tail out. If you are scared of him have the police do it for you! Heck, they love tasering people!

His being conceited drives him to do this thing without any permission.
He really thought that you love him that much and that there would be no problem at all.
But the thing is ... he forgot to ask your opinion whether or not you are ready and serious to live with somebody and losing your privacy.
Living in together should be discussed by both of you coz there are many thing to be sorted out first, like sharing the bills, rent ... etc.
Talk to him in a nice way that you're happy to be with him but ..... there are things to be considered........ And start from there.
One more thing is that ... maybe he is just taking advantage on you. Check this out.

That sounds kind of messed up. You don't just move in with someone with out asking if you can. Did he really move all of his stuff in like his furniture, all his clothes, boxes of things. or does he just keep some stuff there? Maybe he is just looking for a free ride. I knew a b-itch that did that to her boyfriend. Her told her she could stay with him till she find a place. She never looked for one she just lived with him rent free. Her boyfriend was a push over. So she got away with it and might still be. Good luck with that.

Get him out as quickly as possible. That is called a moocher, I had one of those, its like a living nightmare. He'll probably try sweet talking you, or try and throw the pity story down. I would think it's disrespectful for him not even asking you in the first place. If he can't afford his own place and has to result to that then he's probably a loser.

How did he get a key to your place. If you don't want him there, change the lock when he's not home. Put all his belongs in boxes on the front porch. He'll get the idea and leave.

I'm confused; do you mean that he just moved in without asking first? How did he get a key?
