My neon has faded headlights. I was wondering how to "clear" them up without buying new ones. Something simple, I do not have power tools or stuff like that. Thanks!

you can go to advance or auto zone ,and they have a compound their that will work really good on that ,ask anyone at the counter for help with this, and the will get you what you need, and show you how to use it,it works well and will re-store them back like new, good luck on it.

we used to do this in my dealership, when customers wanted to save money we used to take a mix of rubbing alcohol and water and swish it through the had lamp assembly. I have never really seen the results of it, but from what I was told by the techs it worked great! But there is also things that you can buy at a local parts store that you can use for that. I would go with the parts store though, i dont want you to ruin your headlamps

MeGuiar's makes a product called PlastX just for that purpose. Also, 3M fine rubbing compound will work.
If it is outside surface discoloration, these work very well with a little elbow grease. Some types of plastic discolor from heat and cannot be restored. Try one of theses products and see.
