Well I took my meds at 3 pm today. Now it is 1 am. I just want one glass to help me relax and fall to sleep. I just don't want to die or anything. Anyone?

It's not the best idea to mix alcohol with anti-depressants, but one drink isn't going to kill you or impact your medication in a very negative way.

I take Celexa, Wellbutrin and Seroquel and I do have an occasional drink of alcohol. I have discussed this with my psychiatrist and my medical doctor and as long as I am not drinking every day or drinking heavily they both agree that a glass of wine here or there is fine.

When I was on Lexapro and Ativan my doctor told me it was ok to have ONE glass of wine. Basically, you shouldn't have any at all but ONE glass will not kill you.

It never bothered me when I was on it. Just don't overdo it. Also, don't drink and drive. They say you shouldn't but dang, it's just a glass.
