Please help me, I've realized at the zero hour that I'm slideshow illiterate. I just want pictures in a powerpoint to use in a presentation and I thought this was easy to do. When I add pictures, my 8MP images are WAY too big for the frame. When I try the various resizing options, they either don't work, or they only resize the image in the immediate work area. (When I run it as a slideshow, the pics are still huge.) HELP!

Clicking and dragging didn't work, smarty pants. It might make the immediate picture look smaller in the frame, but when you actually run it as a slide show, all that shows up is one zoomed in corner of the same pic....

You need to click and drag the little circles on the edges or corners to resize. Hold the shift key so the shape stays the same and does not get all distorted.

You may also need to drag the entire image back into the center of the slide. (using the 4-headed arrow).

The other guy was right, this is a very basic skill to have learned. Suggest you buy a book and start learning from the beginning.
