I'm quite addicted to steaks and I would like to prepare my own beef or lamb steak but I'm having problems on what's the better ingredient to use for cooking, is it butter or margarine?

Butter is always better than margarine, unless you have to worry about cholestoral. But margarine has its own problems. If you really want to sizzle a steak, just throw it on a preheated grill - it doesn't need butter or margarine. If I'm starting it in a pan, I use butter.

If you are cooking them for more than 5 minutes, start cooking the steaks with nothing and for flavor, add BUTTER in the last 5 minutes of cooking. You don't NEED the butter or margarine. (FYI, the way they make margarine, raises your cholesterol more than equal amounts of butter.)

Cook the steaks on a dry very hot pan. You can't get butter hot enough to cook a steak properly without burning it. Put BUTTER on them after you turn them. Turn them only once. Flip them when you take them out of the pan and put butter on that side too. Do NOT use margerine. Ever. For anything!

neither butter nor margarine can stand high heat without burning. if ya want to sear a steak use a little olive oil and add a little butter if you wish. or go straight veggie oil.

love butter, margarine is just for cheap baking when the budget is really tight. You might even try a little lard for the lamb as it has great flavor.

They both are Just the thing for your health. If you eat both, you're better off. But yea, I'd personally choose fruits because they taste better.

It will depend on the fruit or veg linked to a comparison. In the event that you compare a farreneheit to a carrot, the carrot is the better of the two nutritional. But once you compare an avocado to the carrot, then this avocado is better. Both equally the apple and avocado, are fruits.

Is fake ever as good as the original? Yet some people insist that they like to eat technology, rather than food.
