Tell your self a story in you mind.

Even if it is an exciting story you will find that it occupies enough of your mind that you will shortly fall asleep.

And then tomorrow you can start up where you left off and continue it on for years!! LOL Oh the place I have been in my mind.

Good luck!

For now
- drink warm milk (with a bit of vanilla)
- concentrate on breathing or counting sheep
- give up trying to sleep for a bit and do something else until you get sleepy

For the future
-establish a routine for going to bed so your body knows it is time to sleep
-don't do anything in your bed that isnt sleeping - including reading, watching tv, playing games, etc

I lay down in bed but I'm still up thinking about something. Usuaully I'm up until about 3:00 AM ......just laying in my bed awake.

I don't know. I just sit there and think about whatever. It's 9:50 here. I HAVE to watch wrestling at 10:00- 11:00 so I won't be in bed until at least 12:30 AM.

I hate it, though......... :/

Turn off the computer so you won't be distracted. Get into bed and relax your whole body. You can do this one body part at a time. For example you can relax your toes and then say, "My toes are very relaxed." Then relax your ankles, and so on, until you have relaxed your whole body from bottom to top.

sounds like you may have something on your mind.

and why do you have a comupter in your room get rid of it tomorrow.

try writing down on paper whats on your mind, once it is out of your head then it should be easier to get to sleep.
