Some serious repentance would be in order, but yes. Consider Paul, formerly Saul of Tarsus, who used to persecute and kill Jesus' followers. He repented of his ways and became a true believer, follower and teacher of Jesus' principles.

I find it ironic that people are amazed when Christians tell them that a mass murderer who truly repents can go to heaven at the same time they say 'the Christian God sends innocent people to hell'.
What a contradiction! If a mass murderer can be forgiven why not someone who is a 'lesser' sinner? Of course, He cannot forgive someone who does not think s/he needs forgiveness. That much is clear.

The scriptures teach all will be judged according to their works so expect to receive judgement corresponding to behavior. Murder is so serious because part of the repentence process is not only asking for forgiveness and forsaking the sin, it also includes restitution. Replace that which was stolen, make amends where possible. With murder the murderer cannot restore life so it is impossible to make restitution. In my opinion the murderer will have to pay for their own sins by suffering.

Certainly you would.
However the popes and politicians are always convinced they are doing no wrong.
To ask forgiveness for things like crusades, holocausts or holy wars would never cross their minds.
Everyone from Adam to G W Bush believed they were doing right.
Doing God's will on earth and that they ruled by divine right.
All of the Popes, all of the Kings, every Dictator and every blood and guts Preacher.
Every single one of them with the voices from God buzzing around inside his skull.
Telling them to destroy the evildoers!
"God Is On Our Side" is the universal cry of the warpigs.

Some people argue that what you do on earth you are punished for on earth and everyone gets into heaven. This to me isnt true. If you repent and honestly in your heart are sorry for what you have done than yes. Our god is a forgiving god. But Im sure it only goes so far.

Well looking at it from the perspective of Christians and Jews, the answer has to be "YES."
King Saul killed thousands, and it is said King David killed "tens" of thousands, even more than Saul. Being that THESE KIND are the "heroes" of Jews and Christians if you get a NO answer to this question they are LIARS for their God loves the BEST of "murderers........"

You certainly murdered the English language. Your not planning a rampage by any chance? Seriously if a person truly repents God has said if your sins be as red as scarlet I will cast them as far away as the east is from the west.

If you honestly ask God to forgive you, and you repent of all of your sins (which means you turn away and no longer live a life that commits those sins) then yes, you would go to heaven. Nothing you or I could ever do can keep us from God ... unless we die without asking for forgiveness.

Yes, you will go to heaven if you believe in Jesus however, you will not be allowed into Newe Jerusalem unless you truly repented, and you can't fool God. By the way there are 2 kinds of sorrow:
2Cor:7:9: Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
10: For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
11: For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
If you are saved, and not repentant you still go to heaven like I said, but will be ruled over by others, I discuss this here:

Kyo deserves heaven. It wasn't his fault he had a split personality and a meteor hit him square on the head. He was a mighty warrior. Legend has it that the success of his skill depended upon him using his katana in the reverse blade and he died of leprosy or was betrayed by a woman.
