In Christianity, Paradise is generally used to refer to the realm before Christ's resurrection. It was temporary and housed souls faithful to God until heaven was established after the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Paradise is where the righteous spirits of the dead go until the resurrection where they will receive their body back. It is on earth. Heaven is the eternal realm where those who are righteous go after the final judgement and after the resurrection. There is also a spirit prison or 'hell' for those who have died and have not lived right. They will remain there until the resurrection or until they receive the truth and repent.
This is why Christ could tell the humble man crucified with him that today he would be in paradise with him, yet 3 days later when he was resurrected he told Mary he had not yet ascended to God.
1 Peter 3
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
1 Peter 4
6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

Heaven is the word people have used for the cosmos.- and over a very, very long period of time it has become the word symbol to represent the cosmos and the eternal abode of God. However, in reality these things are not all one place, neither are they all figments of the imagination.
Paradise is the eternal residence of God Himself.
Havona is the first created universe, it is THE central universe and it is perfect; everyone and everything in Havona is perfect. It's a really far out thing to imagine, but I've included links below for the best explanation.
Heaven is the word most people of the civilized world recognize as the place we go after death - this word is well tolerated world wide and is accepted to mean both the place people go after death and also the skies.
Both Paradise and Havona exist in planes far superior to time and space and are in the center of the universe of universes. And surviving souls will eventually go there.
