He proved to himself that near death visions are nonsense. He's an idiot isn't he? I love the show but I wouldn't want to be one of his patients most of them die.

Thats why its called " Near".Like having a Near Fatal heart attack. That word Near changes everything. Dr House may have crude bedside Manners, but I would have to say that 9 out of 10 people In a Life & Death situation would choose him over any of the other so called Doctors on other shows. His Right, there is No " Otherside".

House is on Thursday nights in Australia. Do enjoy the show, specially as most of the episodes are based on real life cases.

His right - near death visions are the brain failing. If it were something 'real' then Christians and other mono theists would be in real trouble because the person will see their deity.
