Withdrawal never caused me nosebleeds. The pain pills did cause me to be very congested some times and it felt very dry inside my nose. If you aren't drinking enough water it could cause some nosebleeds.

Withdrawal caused me to hurt a lot more, but after I got totally off pain med. I found myself hurting a lot less!! My overuse of pain meds. was causing my body to not produce it's own endorphins(body's form of natural pain relief). I'm so glad I'm not on pills any more. At the time I thought I just really needed all I was taking. It messed up my thinking and good judgment. For me less was much better than more.

Withdrawal also made me feel depressed, moody, anxious and weepy, not to mention irritable and cranky.....MEOW!!! For a while I just felt so horrible, but it was temporary!

Withdrawal made me feel nauseated and I couldn't sleep as well. I was so tired, but couldn't rest. Long story short, going through withdrawal feels hellish at the time, but afterwards it is so worth it. I felt ten times better withdrawn than I felt when I was on pain pills.

I hope you feel better soon. If you are worried about what is going on it never hurts to see a doctor! Take care and all the best to you!

The nose is laden with blood vessels. Your accident coupled with your smoking (smoking can cause increase in bleeding) probably opened up a blood vessel in your nose. If it doesn't heal, you made need to have it cauterized in the doctor's office.

Yes, it can reek havoc on your body. If you start having worse symptoms, you may want to check in to a hospital so they can watch your vital signs/
