Just because she has gas don't give up on beans and lentils. They are wonderful sources of protein. So start with small quantities of cooked, mashed peas and lentils mixed with a little ginger paste(available in Asian and Indian grocery stores). Ginger reduces flatulence and as her stomach gets used to it- you'll notice the gas reduces. Then she can enjoy a great source of protein and minerals all her life.

I have a 7 years old and a 15 months old.
At this age, your baby can eat your table food. Just make sure is softer. My baby loves tofu, cooked cauliflower, green beans and carrots.

For breakfast she likes her bottle and 12 grains organic bread. She actually oves when I dip it in hot milk.

What do you cook for your own dinner? Shouldn't she be about ready to have the same foods? Just use your blender or pureer or food processor for your baby's food until her teeth can chew the same textures. Or boil her veggies til soft even if you prefer them less cooked (I do!).

I would prepare a vegetable soup (carrot, potato, some leaves spinach, some onion, garlic - you can always combine different vegetables) and blend it.
